Built for anglers chasing serious fish in demanding saltwater conditions, the VARIVAS Big Game Leader SMP NYLON delivers the strength, abrasion resistance and shock absorption needed when the pressure is on. Designed for big game fishing, this premium nylon leader is engineered to handle blistering runs, heavy loads and tough underwater structure.
The Big Game Leader SMP NYLON maintains proven tensile strength while optimising stretch for improved shock absorption during hard-fighting fish. This added resilience helps protect your main line and terminal tackle when battling powerful tuna, marlin, mahi-mahi and other big saltwater species.
An upgraded material construction provides enhanced abrasion resistance, helping minimise sudden strength loss when your leader encounters sharp teeth, billfish rostrums, reef, rocks and other abrasive structure. VARIVAS' proprietary NON treatment also improves resistance to water absorption, helping the leader maintain its strength and performance during prolonged exposure to saltwater.
The ND-S treatment improves suppleness and reduces stress during rigging, making the leader easier to knot securely to swivels, hooks, crimps and other terminal tackle.
Finished in Natural Clear Violet, the translucent purple colour provides a practical leader option for a wide range of heavy-duty saltwater applications.
