Refund policy

 

Here at Whitey's Tackle, we endeavor to assist our customers with genuine warranty processes to the best of our ability. Please note we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you order/purchase the wrong product or simply change your mind.

If there is a problem with a purchased product, please advise us immediately. We will require proof of purchase (i.e. a receipt, online order number or date of purchase). With regards to a problem with a product we will assess the problem and abide by the Western Australian Governments "Australian consumer law Guidelines" 

We are here to help with any issues you may have and aim to rectify those issues as quickly as possible.

If a refund is approved, please note a refund issued through Shopify typically take 5–10 business days to appear back in your account. The exact timing may vary depending on your original payment method and your bank’s processing times.

Once a refund has been initiated, it may show as Pending for up to 2 business days while the transaction is being processed.

 

 

FOR ONLINE PURCHASES:

For the best chance at getting your warranty approved by the supplier, we need to have the product returned to us in the exact condition as when the fault/damage occurred. Make sure that when you send items back to us for a warranty assessment by the supplier, it is packaged and sent as carefully as you would if it was a brand new product. For items like rods, make sure they are packed with protection inside a solid tube. Avoid using light cardboard tubes as they often bend en-route via post.

When sending back items remember to make sure the item(s) are clean (if they have been used) and send them back protected in a box (or other appropriate packaging) so they do not get further damage during transit.
Freight costs both to and from Whitey's Tackle for warranty purposes is the customers responsibility. Please contact us via sales@whiteystackle.com.au if you require assistance with sending your warranty items back to us and to discuss any extenuating circumstances.

Please also be aware that manufacturer warranties vary from company to company, some items are covered under extended warranty periods up to 10 years but most are covered for a standard period of 1 year. Almost all items have different situations in which they will and won’t be covered under warranty and many things are not covered but instead fall under a ‘wear & tear’ clause or something similar. Try and make yourself familiar with these situations if possible so as not to be disappointed to find that something is not covered at a later date.
