What could I catch using the Saltatrix land based Mulloway/Snapper pulley rig?
This pulley style rig is suited to surf casting, allows sometimes tentative fish such as Mulloway to take the bait without feeling too much resistance from the sinker. The hook configuration will allow for good corner of the mouth hook sets with the large top circle hook and as an added insurance policy the beak hook will act as a stinger hook if the circle hook is missed.
As the name suggests Mulloway and Snapper are the primary targets, but with the smaller stinger hook fish such as Tailor, Herring and Salmon are viable by-catch with our pulley rig, a must have in any keen beach fishos arsenal.
