Developed around Daiwa’s focus on being lighter, tougher and more comfortable, the new Seaborg weighs just 570g in the 300J model, making it an excellent choice for anglers who want to stay actively involved in the fight.
At the heart of the 26 Seaborg is Daiwa’s new MAGMAX-G motor, delivering instant power and improved durability over previous MAGMAX systems. The centrally positioned JOG Power Lever allows anglers to adjust retrieve speed and power with a single finger, without taking their hand off the rod.
MAGSEALED Ball Bearings provide added protection against saltwater intrusion, while the ATD drag system delivers smooth, dependable pressure when targeting powerful offshore species. The reel also supports Daiwa’s Remote Jog Power Lever, allowing compatible Bluetooth-connected remote control of the reel.
Available in 300J and 500J models, the 26 Seaborg is suited to deep dropping, offshore bottom fishing, electric jigging and other demanding applications where power, control and reduced weight are important.
