The Saltatrix Shark rig medium is the ideal rig for targeting small to medium sized sharks intended for the table, it's length makes it ideal for casting or using as a bite trace under a float with a live bait.
*please note there are certain areas such as Busselton & Esperance jetties, the area between Tim's Thicket beach and Two Rocks North Western Australia" where fishing with wire trace is not permitted.

What could I catch using the Saltatrix medium Shark rig?
The Saltatrix medium Shark rig can be fished in a multitude of situations and is most suited to fishing medium sized dead baits in a saltwater situation. A running sinker can be added above the trace and cast out in a surf beach situation or set out under a biodegradable latex balloon or float on a boat. The medium Shark rig would also suit those fishing live mullet in a river situation for Bull Sharks.
