Shimano T Curve Deep Jig Rod

The new 2026 Shimano T-Curve Deep Jig rods build on a proven offshore platform, now featuring Shimano’s advanced Armour 40-5 blank technology for increased load capacity and lifting power. Designed for serious offshore anglers, the range is suited to deep-water jigging, bottom fishing and a variety of demanding saltwater applications. 

Armour 40-5 uses a multi-directional carbon construction to distribute load more effectively through the blank, providing increased strength and lifting power while maintaining the forgiving action T-Curve rods are known for. The range includes both spin and overhead configurations, giving anglers flexibility when setting up their offshore outfit.

Each rod is fitted with Fuji K Alconite guides for durability, smooth line management and excellent heat dissipation under load. Custom-shaped EVA grips provide comfort and a secure hold, while Fuji reel seats deliver a reliable and ergonomic connection to your reel. 

With five models covering PE5 through PE8 and lure ratings from 150–500g, the 2026 T-Curve Deep Jig range offers the power and control needed when targeting hard-fighting offshore species.
